HOW DOES IT WORK
PesaPoint turns your smart phone into a powerful Point Of Sale or Cash Register.

powered by only ONE float account that you top-up through M-PESA (826720) free of charge.
STEP 1
Sign up by entering and forwarding your details in the fields below. Pay the non-refundable activation fee of Kshs1,000 to our PesaPoint m-pesa paybill with business number 517500 (charges are on us) and as account number your name. Once we have confirmed your payment, we will send you a notification that your PesaPoint account has been set up successfully (within 24hrs).
STEP 2
Download and install the app on your device. Once you have received our notification, register your Pesapoint agent account through the app.
STEP 3
After having successfully logged in, press the M-PESA button and follow the instructions to top-up your PesaPoint float account.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can use the PesaPoint app?
Any agent, shop keeper, or business (wo)man in Kenya who is over 18 years of age and has a valid ID number is eligible to use the PesaPoint App. You’ll also need to have a device that can run our mobile app.
How do I earn commission?
You will sell our products at a discount that reflects in you in-app wallet. For example, when you vend shs1,000 airtime, your float is deducted with shs950, giving you a profit of shs50.
How do I top-up the in-app wallet?
You can credit the wallet with M-PESA through the app. The wallet does not necessarily need to be topped-up through your own M-PESA account. It can also be with your customer’s account. Alternatively you can deposit in our Equity account. The top-ups are instant.
If I lose my phone, have I lost my money?
No, your money and other details are safely stored in our servers.
When did Pesatransact start its operations?
We are a subsidiary of Interswitch EA Ltd, a payment processor governed by the Central Bank of Kenya. We are operating an agent network since 2004 under the PesaPoint brand. Our platforms have processed over 100M transactions.
How are you related to Safaricom and KPLC?
We are the distribution partner of Safaricom and KPLC with whom we have entered into a dealer contract, allowing us to sell their products at a discount which we share with our agents.
Where did your ATM’s go?
The PesaPoint ATM’s were pulled out of the market after all bank ATM’s were interconnected and could dispense cash for any other bank card. There was no longer a need for an independent ATM network. About 40% of the bank ATM’s are still managed by our parent company Interswitch.
